October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we are happy to once again raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.

All month long, we are making our foundations 'pop' with the color pink with Builders Post-Tension limited-edition pink cables that aim to bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer.

Builders Post-Tension has been a supplier of post-tension cable, rebar, wire mesh and other concrete reinforcement products for 19+ years. This month will be their seventh consecutive year to bring awareness to our industry and our customers. "Our company has adopted breast cancer awareness as one of our many priorities." "One of our employees was diagnosed and has since become cancer free after her treatment at MD Anderson. We consider our team a family, so it was a natural decision to embrace this cause." said Greg Tomlinson.

During October, BPT manufactures hundreds of feet of pink post-tension cable that are shipped out to our ASGi Communities in Montgomery, Polk, and Liberty County.

According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers. The average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 13%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance she will develop breast cancer. We hope you join our efforts to raise awareness, and encourage the women in your life to check on their breast health.
